Major changes include:
Net Worth is back – bigger and better than ever!
We have made major enhancements to our Net Worth functionality. Customers can now:
Net Worth history builds from the moment a customer connects an account to their MoneyBrilliant service and displays end of month balances.
By automatically updating the value of connected bank accounts, investment accounts, superannuation, credit cards and loans and allowing other assets and liabilities to be entered manually MoneyBrilliant can now track and report a customer’s complete Net Worth.
Net worth history and the ability to add manual assets and liabilities to your Net Worth are features that are available to MoneyBrillliant Plus plan members. You can upgrade to the MoneyBrilliant Plus plan at any time from the Plan & Billing page on the MoneyBrilliant desktop browser app. You can read more about the benefits of upgrading to our Plus plan, including our Money Back Guarantee on our website.
The registration process for co-branded customers is now much simpler
Customers registering for MoneyBrilliant through a website landing page or a mobile app can now enter a Corporate Code during the registration process. This makes it possible to deliver the co-branded experience to customers much sooner.
Accepting Financial Partner invitations is now much easier for customers
We have made it much easier for customers to accept an invitation from a Financial Partner (their financial planner or their accountant) to join MoneyBrilliant. Previously customers would have to register and then go to the Settings – Data Sharing screen to accept your invitation.
Now when a customer that has been invited to join MoneyBrilliant registers their invitation will be displayed during the registration process. The customer can simply accept or reject the invitation during registration.
If an existing MoneyBrilliant customer is invited to share their MoneyBrilliant information with their Financial Partner the invitation will be displayed the next time they log into MoneyBrilliant.
These enhancements make it much less likely that customers will forget to accept an invitation from their Financial Partner.
Superannuation and Investment accounts now include transactions and holdings information
MoneyBrilliant has always had the ability to connect a customer’s superannuation and investment accounts. We have now added transactions and holdings information for these accounts. Customers can now see contributions, fees and the investments they hold.
Customers can access transactions and holdings from the My Accounts screen on desktop, iOS and Android apps and also from the My Transactions screen on the desktop app.
By default, the transactions for superannuation and investment accounts are not included in Spending Reports and they do not appear in the Uncategorised Transactions list on the Overview dashboard tab.
Future releases will build on this functionality to allow Savings and Retirement goals to be set and modelled and Alerts to be configured on Superannuation and Investment accounts for things like large fees, missing payments and balances.
Spending reports are now much more flexible
We have made some nice enhancements to Spending Reports, especially on iOS and Android devices to provide customers with even better visibility of how they are spending their money. Enhancements include the ability to:
Account details screens now show historical balances
Customers now have access to a history of account balances for each connected account. They can easily see the trends in account balances over time to get a sense of whether they are saving or spending!
Account details history is a feature that is only available to MoneyBrillliant Plus plan members.
