From January 2018 and for the next 4 years, NSW families will be entitled to $100 for each school child who participates in a recognised sporting activity. The $100 is paid in the form of a voucher that can be used to pay sport fees. It cannot be used to purchase sporting equipment. The sporting organisation must be registered with the Active Kids program to be able to accept the vouchers.
The program is not means tested.
Further details on the program are available at sport.nsw.gov.au/activekids
You can apply for the vouchers at service.nsw.gov.au through a MyServiceNSW account. If you don’t have one of these you will need to set one up.
