How do I change the purpose of my accounts in Optimise my Banking?

You can change the purpose of your accounts in Optimise my Banking at any time. Changing the account purpose will change your banking recommendations.

Mobile –

From the Optimise my Banking dashboard touch any of the account recommendations, eg. Other Accounts, Transaction Accounts, Savings Accounts, Bills Accounts, …

You will navigate to the recommendation screen for that account type where you can touch the Settings icon the top right-hand corner.

From here you are able to touch the account you wish to assign to navigate you to the menu of purpose options. Update the account purpose by selecting or deselecting the appropriate purpose

Changes will be saved as you make them. Once you have finished making changes you can select Summary from the top left-hand corner of your screen and then Done from the top right-hand corner.

Desktop –

From the Optimise my Banking dashboard click View Details on anyone of your account types, eg. Other Accounts, Transaction Accounts, Savings Accounts, Bills Accounts, …

You will navigate to the recommendation screen for that account type where you can click Edit from the bottom right-hand side of the screen.

In the Banking Setup screen you select the account purpose from the Overview menu and then select the accounts for that purpose. You can select multiple accounts for the one purpose.

 

Changes will be saved as you make them. Once you have finished you can click View Recommendations or navigate elsewhere in the app.
