How do I add and delete manual bank accounts?

Manual accounts allow you to input details of accounts that you hold that you cannot or prefer not to connect.

Mobile

Navigate to Net Worth from the Overview dashboard. You will now be in your Net Worth screen. From here you can add a manual bank account.

To add a manual bank account, tap the + symbol in the top right-hand corner. From here select Add Manual Account. Once you have done this, enter the name and balance of your account.

Your account balance will now be reflected in your Net Worth. Changes to this account need to be done through your Net Worth screen, and this is also where you will view it.

Adding transactions to your manual bank accounts are also done from the Net Worth screen. Click on the bank account and select Add Transaction. Here you will be able to enter debit and credit transactions.

If you wish to delete your manual account you do this by going to Settings, selecting Connected Services, tapping on Manual accounts and selecting the account you wish to delete. Towards the bottom of the screen, you tick the box beside Closed Account. Once you have done this, turn the green slider beside the closed account off. You will no longer see the manual account in your Net Worth or Accounts screen. You can also remove it entirely from Connected Services by logging into the MoneyBrilliant website and selecting the account from Connected Services. On desktop, you will see a delete button, select this and have the account removed from Connected Services.

Desktop

In desktop, you add accounts from the Accounts screen.

On the right-hand side of the screen, select the Connect New Account button. From here you will be taken through to the Search Institution Page. At the bottom of the page, you will see the option to Add Manual Account. Select this option.

Once you have done this, enter the name and balance of your account.

Your account balance will now be reflected in your Accounts screen and your Net Worth. Changes to this account need to be done through your Settings/Connected Services screen.
